Colour
Characterised by a clear colour tending towards ivory, Trani Stone has some fossil remains and its crystals may be visible within the rock composition. Based on its structure, it is classified into several types including: Trani Bronzetto, Trani Serpeggiante and Trani Filetto Rosso. The latter is the one used by MarmoreGranite.de.
Features
Pietra di Trani is a carbonate rock, born from the deposition of sedimentary layers. It is a tough limestone, more aesthetically similar to marble travertine.
Use
Famous for centuries in the stone and construction industry, it is used to make stairs, jambs, skirting tiles, roofing, kerbs and road paving. In recent years, the range of production and processing has been expanded, finding application in both civil construction and complex architectural structures.
